W fender is very suitable for application on the bow and stern of tugs, workboats and icebreakers, the function is the same as Tug fenders. The flexible legs allow the fender to be curved around most hull shapes; this enables you to install W type fenders at a variety of angles around a range of radii.
Types
The standard sizes of W rubber fenders are smaller than other types of rubber fenders, ranging from 320mm to 600mm. W600 is the large size of standard models of W rubber fenders in lengths of up to 2000mm.
Installation
It has a unique ‘open bore’ design, which makes installation much more simple, A complete “ready to install” fender kit including connecting plugs, end plugs, drill holes as well as numbered stern and bow fender sets are available.
We can also cut these fenders in order to fit around the shape and design of your specific vessel.
